Quality of current boats:
This of course is difficult to predict today given that production has ceased in the early 1980s. It will mainly be a result of maintenance applied. I can well speak about SATURN (GER 1239), Tyler-made hull, finished by Matthiessen & Paulsen in Arnis/Germany in 1972. The (white) hull has still not been repainted and is clear and bright, very glossy and with no stain in the gelcoat, cockpit, deck and coachroof finished in teak. She does not display any sign of osmosis.
